Declining prices of many products except milk
Dairy field pioneer company Amul has reduced the price of some of its milk products after applying GST. The company has mainly reduced the price of milk powder. According to the new price list issued by the company, Amul has reduced the price of Baby Milk Powder, Amul Spray, Milk Powder and Cream by 25 rupees.
According to the company, price of Amul spray 1 kilo pack before GST was 360 rupees. After GST, it has dropped to Rs 335. Besides, the price of 500 gm of Amul spray was Rs 195, which has now fallen to 182 rupees. When the company has also reduced the price of Amulya Milk Powder, the price of Amulya 1 kilo pack before the GST was Rs 358, which has now fallen to Rs 335. With that, the price of Amulya 500 gm pouch has been reduced from 183 to 175 rupees.
The company has also reduced the cost of cream in addition to the milk powder. Before the GST was applied, the price of 1 liter of Amul Fresh Cream was 190 rupees. Which has now fallen to 182 rupees. While the small 250 ml pack was available at 60 rupees before the GST, it will now get 57 rupees. 5% GST is being applied to milk powder in GST applied from 1st July. When it had to pay more than 7 percent before this.
