One crore Central Government employees and pensioners are waiting for news on their arrears and allowances like HRA and DA. he 7th Pay Commission had recommended HRA too be fixed at 24%, 16% and 8% depending on the cities employees work in.However, employees were not happy with this increase and demanded 30%, 24% and 16% HRA.
out of the total Rs. 92,283 crore, Rs. 14,894 crore is Central GST and Rs. 22, 722 crore is State GST, while Rs. 47,469 is integrated GST. The Finance Minister said that the integrated GST includes tax collected from imports amounting Rs. 20, 964 crore and will be allotted between the states and the Centre. The total amount also includes a compensation cess of Rs. 7, 198 crore.As per FM Jaitley, around 38 lakh entities filed their returns and the newly approved tax payers stands at 18.83 lakh. he said that the total number of migrated tax payers have increased to 72.33 lakh and out of it 58.53 lakh have filled the forms.
With this, Jaitley said the figures which arrived shows a surplus than what they anticipated. According to Moneycontrol, the Centre’s combined target for July was Rs. 91,000.
