AADHAR PAN LINKING LAST DATE IS 31st AUGUST

The country's taxpayers will have to link their PAN and support number within the stipulated time. UIDAI CEO Ajay Bhushan Pandey said that the last date for linking the PAN is ending at the end of this month and it will not affect the Supreme Court's Right to privacy.

He said that the need for support for government subsidy, welfare schemes and other benefits will still be there. The government has fixed the last date for connecting PAN with the 31 August 2017. Asked about the decision of Supreme Court's Right to Pivasi decision, Pandey said that PAN has been made compulsory for improving the Income Tax Law to connect with support. There will not be any change in this.

However, the last date for PAN-based leqing is August 31. After this date, the support and PAN can also be linked to the country. Speaking about the last date of the PAN-back, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, "This is a continuous process of picking and the work of Leiking will continue as the new PAN and support will continue to be maintained in the country."

The government on Monday notified that it has extended the deadline for linking Aadhaar with PAN (Permanent Account Number). The last date for the linking has now been finalised for August 31. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) also said that the Income Tax Returns (ITRs) will be processed only after the linking has been completed.
