Jio Phone specs, features, pre booking: Mukesh Ambani has unveiled the JioPhone at the Reliance Industries Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2017. The JioPhone is a 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone. The Reliance Industries Limited chairman called the new JioPhone ‘India ka smartphone’, and it comes loaded with features like expandable SD card slot, 4-way navigation, and more. Ambani, in his address, was expected to bring out a new 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone. The feature phone has been a point of much anticipation after leaks and rumours started doing the rounds. The JioPhone comes with an Alphanumeric keypad and features a headphone jack, microphone, speaker, and supports FM Radio as well. The 4G VoLTE-enabled JioPhone supports all languages, and users can speak to the device via voice commands. The company is giving people an option to browse the Internet on the new JioPhone as well, and it comes pre-loaded with Jio apps. The JioPhone’s effective price is Rs 0. This means, you can buy the phone at Rs 1500, which will be refunded after 3 years, Ambani said. The phone will be sold as first come-first serve basis from September 2017. At present, the company had launched a new plan after the Geo Surprise Offer was completed. It has 5 new plans for postpad users. The special feature of this plan is that in this, the users are getting double benefit in the price of the old plan. This includes plans ranging from Rs 309 to Rs 999. By recharging 399 rupees, you can use 90GB of data for 90 days, it will get 1GB of data every day. There is also a plan of 2GB of data every day. Geo introduced a Rs 309 earlier plan, with 30 days of validity, with 30 GB data per day (1 GB per day). Now at 309 rupees you get 60 GB validity instead of 30 and 60 GB of data per day with a limit of 1 GB.

Similarly, in the plan of 349, the first 30 days of validity was available with 20 GB data. Which is now getting 60 days validity at Rs 349 and no data has been modified, that is, 20 GB data will be available as before.

Talking about the Rs 399 plan, we got 60 TB data with the validity of the first 30 days. Now 90 GB of data is available with 90 days of validity in the new plan.

The 509-rupee plan was getting 60 GB of data with the validity of the first 30 days, while the new plan is getting 120 GB data (2 GB per day per day) with 60 days validity in the same amount.

In the Rs 999 plan, the first 30 days of validity was available with 60 GB data, while now the same amount is getting 90 GB data with 60 days validity.

some very important decisions which have been implemented on an urgent basis for the flood affected areas of Gujarat thereby depicting his sensitivity towards the welfare of the people of Gujarat.

The decisions are as under

• The families of the deceased people shall receive an aid of Rs. 4 lakhs from the state government. In addition to that, a sum of Rs. 2 lakh shall also be given from the Prime Minister’s relief fund which means that a sum of Rs. 6 lakhs in total shall be allocated to the families of the deceased.
• Distribution of fodder in the flood affected areas of Banaskantha and patan for the livestock as and when reijuired.
• 150 teams in Banaskantha and Patan shall carry out surveys on an urgent basis to record the number of deaths of livestock and complete all the req uired work in 4 days.
• The Surat Municipal Corporation and the vadodara Municipal Corporation shall be actively working to spray the necessary medicines in the urban areas to prevent the spread of diseases during rains.
• The Chief Executive Officer (C. E. O) of Gujarat Municipal Finance Board and three chief Officers have been given the re sponsibility to supervise the aforesaid and ensure effective implementation of the same.
